A78 Skelmorlie | Essential Investigation Works
Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential investigations on the A78, Skelmorlie during March 2026. The works will involve trial excavations to help assess and identify effective solutions for improving the drainage conditions in the area.
From Monday 23rd March until Thursday 26th March 2026 between the hours of 9:30am and 4pm each day, temporary traffic signals will be in operation at this location that will facilitate the investigations.
Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by informing future drainage improvements in this location.
