A78 Prior to Wemyss Bay | Essential Patching

A78 Prior to Wemyss Bay
20th of November 2025, 8:00pm to 22nd of November 2025, 6:00am

Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential patching on the A78, prior to Wemyss Bay, from Thursday 20th November until Saturday 22nd November 2025 between the hours of 8pm and 6am each night.

This work will require two overnight closures, and traffic will be diverted via Spey Road.

Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.

Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.

This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by improving the safety and condition of the carriageway in this location.

Road users are thanked for their patience and understanding while this work is being undertaken.
