A78 at Inverkip | Planned Improvements

Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, are undertaking planned road safety improvements on the A78 at Inverkip between Tuesday 2nd December and Monday 8th December and Wednesday 10th December to Thursday 11th December 2025. Works will be carried out under overnight convoy traffic management between the hours of 7pm and 6am each night. These works are the second (and final) phase of road surfacing improvements at Inverkip with the first phase of surfacing completed in November 2025.

Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.

Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.

This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by improving the safety and condition of the carriageway in this location.
