Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential drainage surveys on the A78 at Greenock Road in Wemyss Bay from Monday 14th September until Monday 21st September 2026 between the hours of 8pm and 7am each weekday. No work will take place on Saturday or Sunday nights.

This work will be carried out under single lane closures managed by temporary traffic lights.

Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.

Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.

This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by improving safety and drainage of trunk road.

Road users are thanked for their patience and understanding while this work is being undertaken.
