Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, will be undertaking a £1million pound programme of infrastructure improvements and upgrades to the A78 trunk road between Fairlie and Skelmorlie between late August to early December 2025. The current full calendar of works is listed below and on the website: swtrunkroads.scot

Please note all dates are provisional and subject to change. They will be confirmed via official communications in advance of the works taking place.

Please note, unforeseen conditions including severe weather and other incidents may require these works to be rescheduled or postponed. Utility providers may seek emergency access to the network during these works, and if required our works will be re-programmed accordingly.
