A77 Stranraer | Essential Sea Wall Repairs

Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential sea wall repairs on the A77 at Stranraer from Tuesday 1st September until Saturday 31st October 2026 between the hours of 8am and 6pm on weekdays and 8am and 1pm on Saturdays. No work will take place on Sundays.

This work will take place under 24-hour continuous temporary traffic lights.

Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.

Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.

This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by improving the safety and condition of the carriageway structure in this location.
