A77 North of Stranraer | Essential Investigations
This page has been archived. For information on live or future events and roadworks view our travel news.
Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential investigations on the A77 north of Stranraer, between Sandmill and Beach Cottage, from Monday 28th October until Wednesday 30th October 2024, between the hours of 9:30am and 3:30pm each day.
This work will require road closures in this location and traffic will be diverted as follows:
Southbound traffic will be directed to take the A751 at Innermessan and join the A75 to Stranraer.
Northbound traffic will follow the above route in reverse.
Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
These investigations follow previous works carried out using an innovative recycling scheme in October
