Dalrymple Street, Girvan
15th of September 2026, 8:30am to 18th of September 2026, 12:00pm

Scottish Water is advising customers and road users of upcoming works on Dalrymple Street, Girvan, to install a new water connection.

The work is scheduled to begin on Tuesday 15 September, with traffic management being put in place from 8.30am. To allow the work to be carried out safely, Dalrymple Street will be closed for up to four days until 18 September.

The project involves the installation of a water connection to an existing 8-inch water main.

A signed diversion route will be in place via Hamilton Street, Knockcushan Street, Henrietta Street and Glendoune Street before rejoining Dalrymple Street. Local access will be maintained throughout the works.

Scottish Water apologises for any inconvenience and thanks customers and road users for their patience and understanding while these essential works are carried out.
