A77 Girvan | Patching
Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential patching on the A77 in Girvan, between Henrietta Street and Asda, from Thursday 11th June until Friday 19th June between the hours of 7pm and 6am each night.
This work will be delivered in three traffic management phases:
Phase 1 - Complete
Phase 2 works will take place between Old Street Cemetery and Asda from Thursday 11th June to Friday 12th June. Traffic will be managed using convoy working, meaning vehicles will be escorted through the works by an escort vehicle. The Asda entrance will remain accessible until 11:30pm on each night. During this phase, access to Montgomerie Street will be closed, with a signed diversion in place.
Phase 3 works will take place between Henrietta Street (from Ailsa Street West) and Bridge Street Car Park from Tuesday 16th June to Friday 19th June. Traffic will be managed by a full trunk road closure with a signed diversion in place.
Northbound traffic will be diverted between Shallochpark Roundabout and Bridgemill Roundabout via Coalpots Road and the B734.
Southbound traffic will follow the same diversion route in reverse.
Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by improving the safety and condition of the carriageway in this location.
Road users are thanked for their patience and understanding while this work is being undertaken.
