A76 West of Kirkconnel | Investigations

Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential geotechnical investigations on the A76, west of Kirkconnel, from Wednesday 6th May until Friday 5th June 2026 between the hours of 8am and 5pm each day. This work will require single lane closures managed by temporary traffic lights.

Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.

Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.

This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by informing future works in this location.
