A76 at Newbridge | Essential Resurfacing

A76 at Newbridge
29th of June 2026, 8:00pm to 4th of July 2026, 6:00am

Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential resurfacing on the A76 between Lincluden and Holywood from Monday 29th June until Saturday 4th July 2026.

This work will take place under a combination of overnight convoy between 8pm and 6am each night, and daytime single lane closures managed by temporary traffic lights between the hours of 6am and 8pm.

Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.

This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by improving the safety and condition of the carriageway in this location.

Road users are thanked for their patience and understanding while this work is being undertaken.
