A76 Cairn Road in Cumnock | Essential Bridge Expansion Joint Replacements
Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential bridge expansion joint replacements on the A76 Cairn Road overbridge in Cumnock from Monday 31st August until Thursday 3rd September 2026 between the hours of 8pm and 6am each day.
This work will require total closures in this location and traffic will be diverted via Cairn Road, Skares Road, Ayr Road, Glaisnock Street and Cairn Road.
Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by improving the safety and condition of the carriageway structure in this location.
