A75 Gretna | Essential Surveys

Gretna and the B721 junction
21st of May 2026, 8:00pm to 22nd of May 2026, 6:00am

Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential surveys on the A75 between Gretna and the B721 junction from 8pm on Thursday 21st May until 6am on Friday 22nd May 2026.

This work will require a full overnight closure of Cemetery Road. Westbound traffic will be directed to travel south on Glasgow Road and join the A75 at the on slip. Eastbound traffic will continue on the A75 eastbound and take the Glasgow Road off slip.

Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.

Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.

This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by informing future improvement works in this location.

Road users are thanked for their patience and understanding while this work is being undertaken.
