A75 at Crocketford
8th of December 2025, 9:30am to 12th of December 2025, 4:00pm

Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, are carrying out preparatory work on road signs as part of the 20mph speed limit programme on the A75 through Crocketford from Monday 8th December until Friday 12th December 2025 between the hours of 9.30am and 4pm each day.

Traffic management will be in place during these times and will consist of single lane closures managed by two-way and three-way temporary traffic lights in operation at this location.

Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.

Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.

This initiative supports the Scottish Government’s commitment to improving road safety and reducing casualties by introducing 20 mph limits on appropriate roads across Scotland by March 2026. Road users are thanked for their patience and understanding while this work is being undertaken.
