A75 Annan | Bridge Joint Replacement Works
Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential bridge expansion joint replacements on the A75 Stapleton Road overbridge at Annan, from Thursday 23rd October until Saturday 8th November 2025 between the hours of 8pm and 6am each night.
This work will require overnight closures of the A75 carriageway in both directions. Northbound traffic will be diverted via the B721 and the A75 eastbound to continue northbound. Southbound traffic will take this diversion in reverse.
Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by improving the safety and condition of the carriageway structure in this location.
