A737 Southbound from Linwood to Johnstone | Patching Works

A737 Southbound from Linwood to Johnstone
8th of October 2026, 8:00pm to 10th of October 2026, 6:00am

Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential patching on the southbound A737 between Linwood and Johnstone from Thursday 8th October until Saturday 10th October 2026 between the hours of 8pm and 6am each night.

This work will require two overnight closures between the southbound A737 off slip to Linwood and the on slip at Johnstone. Traffic will be diverted via the A761, Bridge of Weir Road, Deafhillock Roundabout and Barrochan Road to re-join the southbound A737.

Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.

Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.

This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by improving the surface of the carriageway in this location.

Road users are thanked for their patience and understanding while this work is being undertaken.
