A737 South of Manrahead | Essential Patching Works
Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential patching on the A737, south of Manrahead, from Monday 23rd February until Friday 27th February 2026 between the hours of 7pm and 6am each night.
This work will take place under overnight closures between Manrahead Roundabout and Hillend Roundabout, and signed diversions will be in operation as follows:
Southbound traffic will be directed to exit the A737 at Manrahead Roundabout on to the B777, and follow Beith Road, Main Road and Kirkland Road, then follow Kirkland Road to the junction with Dalry Road. Traffic will then turn left on to B780 Dalry Road and continue on Braehead, North Street, Roche Way, Townend Street, Kilwinning Road and re-join the A737 at Hillend Roundabout.
Northbound traffic will take this diversion route in reverse.
Local traffic will be able to travel between Hillend Roundabout and Highfield Roundabout.
Vehicle access will be maintained for residents between Highfield Roundabout and Manrahead Roundabout. Residents are asked to contact Amey’s Control Room at the number below to arrange access to the A737. This is to ensure the safety of our workforce.
Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by improving the safety and condition of the carriageway in this location.
Road users are thanked for their patience and understanding while this work is being undertaken.
