A726 Righead Roundabout | Resurfacing

Righead/Eaglesham
10th of June 2026, 8:00pm to 11th of June 2026, 6:00am

Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential resurfacing on the westbound A726 between Righead and Eaglesham Roundabouts from 8pm on Wednesday 10th June until 6am on Thursday 11th June 2026 under a single overnight westbound carriageway closure.

Traffic will be diverted at Righead Roundabout to Murrayhill Road and will be directed to follow Westwood Road, Murrayhill Road and Eaglesham Road to re-join the westbound carriageway at Eaglesham Roundabout.

Single lane closures will be in operation on the westbound approach to Righead Roundabout.
Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.

Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.

This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by improving the safety and condition of the carriageway in this location.

Road users are thanked for their patience and understanding while this work is being undertaken.
