Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential resurfacing on the A726 between Righead Roundabout and Eaglesham Roundabout from 8pm on Friday 31st July until 6am on Saturday 1st August 2026.

This work will require a single overnight closure in this location. Traffic will be diverted at Righead Roundabout to follow Murrayhill Road, Westwood Road, Eaglesham Road and Eaglesham Roundabout.

Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.

Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.

This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by improving the safety and condition of the carriageway in this location.

Road users are thanked for their patience and understanding while this work is being undertaken.
