A701 South of St Ann's | Essential Resurfacing

A701 South of St Ann's
30th of March 2026, 7:00pm to 4th of April 2026, 6:00am

Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential resurfacing and re-lining on the A701 at Bonny Brae, south of St Ann’s, from Monday 30th March until Friday 3rd April 2026 between the hours of 7pm and 6am each night.

This work will require overnight closures in this location and signed diversions will be in operation as follows:

Northbound traffic will continue on the A75 eastbound and follow the A709 eastbound at Brownrigg Roundabout, continue to Lockerbie and follow the B7076 to join the A701 southbound.

Southbound traffic will take the above diversion route in reverse.

Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.

Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.

This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by improving the safety and condition of the carriageway in this location.

Road users are thanked for their patience and understanding while this work is being undertaken.
