A701 Locharbriggs, Dumfries | Scottish Water Works
We are making customers aware of a road closure that will be in place on the A701, near Locharbriggs, Dumfries on the 2nd of November 2025.
Please be assured that there will be no interruption to water supply during this time. The road will be reopened as soon as the works are completed.
Diversion routes will be in place from some residential areas around the closure.
We will provide a further update on the progress of this work when more information becomes available.
We recognise these works may cause some inconvenience, and we would like to thank everyone for their patience while these repairs are completed.
