M90 Queensferry Crossing | Diversion System Overnight Maintenance

Queensferry Crossing/Forth Road Bridge
13th of May 2026, 10:00pm to 14th of May 2026, 6:00am

Southbound traffic on the M90 will be diverted over the Forth Road Bridge between 22:00 and 06:00 tonight, to allow maintenance to be carried out on the Queensferry Crossing automated diversion system.

Northbound traffic will be diverted off the M90 at Junction 1B Ferrytoll, over the roundabout and immediately back onto the motorway.

David Bishop, BEAR Scotland’s South East Unit Bridges Manager, said: “A full carriageway closure will be required for our team to complete this maintenance work safely, however the diversion over the Forth Road Bridge will only add a minute or two to affected journeys.

“We’re grateful to motorists for their understanding.”
