The event
The WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series takes place at the Nevis Range, Fort William from Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th of May this year.
With incredible thrills happening over the event weekend, make sure you're not disappointed and don't miss out on any of the action. Plan your travel ahead of time.
Traffic volume over the weekend
We are expecting some delays on the A82, local roads and in Fort William.
Car sharing is a great way to head over to the event and will reduce the amount of vehicles on the road.
Alternative travel
The organisers have implemented ‘Ride and Return’ and ‘Park and Ride’ services for those who wish to attend and to help reduce congestion in the surrounding area.
The 'Ride and Return' service will host departure points from both Edinburgh Bus Station and Glasgow Buchanan Bus Station. More travel information for the event can be found here.
Cycling to and from the event may also be a great alternative to driving.
