M74 Junction 6 ⏐ Essential Structural Investigations

M74 Junction 6 (North and Southbound)
4th of March 2024, 8:00pm to 6th of June 2024, 6:00am

Essential Structural Investigations on the M74 at Junction 6 commence Monday 4th March 2024

Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential structural investigations and associated works on the M74 northbound and southbound at Junction 6 and underneath on the A723 eastbound and westbound between Motherwell and Hamilton, from Monday 4th March until Friday 6th June 2024, between the hours of 8 pm and 6 am each night. The work will be carried out using overnight lane closures on the M74 and total overnight closures on the A723. We thank road users for their patience and cooperation while this essential work takes place.

Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.

This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by improving the condition of the carriageway structure and reducing the need for more extensive maintenance in the future.
