UPDATE (10/04): The works will now be completed on 30th April 2024 at 6:00am. Please be advised that boundary fence repairs on the M8 at Junction 15 will only take place on weeknights between 8pm and 6am.

Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, are undertaking essential boundary fence and central reservation paving repairs on the M8 eastbound at the Junction 15 off-slip road to Castle Street from Monday 15th April until Monday 29th April 2024, between the hours of 8pm and 6am each weeknight.

This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by undertaking essential maintenance work.

The work will be carried out using overnight road closures and a signed diversion will be in operation. We thank road users for their patience and co-operation while this essential work takes place.

M8 eastbound traffic will be directed to continue on the M8 eastbound until Junction 14, where it will then take the Viewpark Avenue off-slip road. From here, traffic will turn right on to Viewpark Avenue and right again to join the M8 westbound carriageway, where traffic will be able to exit again at Castle Street.

Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
