Amey is undertaking road safety improvements underneath an overbridge at Balmanno Hill on the M90 between Junctions 8 and 9 from Sunday 27th October to Friday 15th November.
The essential maintenance will deliver new vehicle safety barriers on the northbound and southbound verges under the overbridge, located approximately 2.6 miles south of Bridge of Earn.
The £150,000 project, which Amey is delivering on behalf of Transport Scotland, will benefit more than 26,000 vehicles who use this route each day.
Work will take place overnight from Sunday to Thursday each week between 7.30pm and 6.30am.
To ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists the work will be undertaken using lane one closures on both M90 carriageways. There will be no traffic management in place on Friday and Saturday nights.
There will be a 50mph speed limit in place for the duration of the works due to a temporary barrier being in place.
Traffic management will be lifted each morning at 6.30am before being put back in place each night at 7.30pm.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
