Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential inspections and drainage clearance on the M74 at Port Eglinton from Monday 11th November until Friday 15th November 2024 between the hours of 6am and 6pm each day.

This work will restrict the footpath width on West Street directly below the carriageway structure, and sufficient width will be maintained for those with mobility requirements.

Pollockshaws footpath will be directed around the bus stop directly beneath the structure. Cyclists will be required to dismount and walk around the bus stop at this location.

Trunk road traffic will not be affected by these works.

Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.

Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.

This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by improving the condition of the structure and reducing the need for more extensive maintenance in the future.
