A84 Lochearnhead To Stirling | Programme Of Road Lining Works
BEAR Scotland, on behalf of Transport Scotland, are set to carry out a rolling programme of road lining works along the A84 starting from Lochearnhead and working towards Stirling, from Tuesday 9 June.
Works will be carried out in two phases, Monday to Friday, as follows:
Dayshift: Lochearnhead to Leny Lodge (west of Callander) - Tuesday 9 June to Tuesday 23 June, 8am to 5pm
Nightshift: Leny Lodge (west of Callander) to Auction Mart Roundabout (west of Stirling) – Wednesday 24 June to Tuesday 14 July, 7pm to 6am
To ensure the safety of the workforce and members of the travelling public, manually operated stop and go signs will be in use. During nightshift works, temporary traffic lights will be used when there is not enough daylight for manual control. Traffic management will be removed outwith working hours and at weekends. A temporary speed restriction will also be in place.
Steve Taylor, BEAR Scotland’s North West Design Manager said: “This programme of works is key to improving road markings, ensuring the ongoing safe operation of the A84.
“We thank road users in advance for their patience and understanding while our teams carry out these essential works and would ask them to fully comply with temporary speed limits to ensure our workers can go home safely to their families each day.”
