1. At Maidencoates Roundabout, take the first exit to join the A73 and continue along A73 for 12.7 miles
2. Turn right onto Hyndford Road / A73
3. After 0.4 miles, turn right onto A70
4. At the roundabout, continue on Ayr Road / A70
5. After 1.8 miles, turn right onto Lanark Road / A70
6. After 1.5 miles, turn right to continue on A70
7. At Carnwath Roundabout, continue straight onto Caldwell Terrace / A721
8. After 7.7 miles, rejoin the A702 at Melbourne Crossroads
