M8 WB traffic wanting to exit at J4 to take A801 NB to remain on the M8, take exit at Jct 4a. Take third exit at roundabout, take second exit at roundabout onto M8 EB continue on M8 and take exit at Jct 4 to join A801 NB.

A705 westbound traffic wanting to go north on A801: traffic to continue past the turn for the A801, turn right onto A706 Armadale Road, take second exit at Whitdale roundabout and continue along A706 to the A801.

A705 eastbound traffic wanting to go north on A801: traffic to continue past the turn for the A801 until reaching toll roundabout. Take first exit onto the A779 Starlaw road.
